BUILD YOUR WEALTH IN THE TRADES YOUTH EXPLORATION OF THE SKILLED TRADES

EVENT OVERVIEW

Teens and young adults will spend the afternoon immersed in a well-rounded, hands-on experience during the exploration of skilled trades. Join us as we have skilled trades workers guide a day of hands on learning. Learn how you can start a career making over 80k a year in the building trades.

To meet the needs of our young adults throughout the Northside of Pittsburgh by building a brighter future through careers in the construction trades.

3 SESSIONS

1. Electrical
Attendees will learn how to install a Power Over Ethernet video surveillance camera system by running the wires, making all connections, and mounting cameras. This session will be guided by trained professionals.

2. Carpentry
Attendees will learn learn about the tools and techniques used to construct an exterior ADA accessible ramp. We will measure wood, cut, and set screws.
