Another year, another successful Pittsburgh Technical Center Open House! This year, the Pittsburgh Open House tied in the NFL Draft, as the city had hosted it this year, by “Drafting” future union carpenters and teaming up with the Mel Blount Youth Leadership Initiative. He even made an appearance! Current apprentices showcased their skills in the annual apprentice competition, and the training center was open to the general public to showcase the trades through activities, tours, and information sessions.
