Allegheny County health leaders have been raising the alarm about rising COVID-19 cases in the past few weeks, saying the delta variant and the unvaccinated are driving the surge. In the county a daily average of 10-15 cases through July, is now recording around 200 new cases daily.
According to the Allegheny-Fayette County Labor Council the top priority is the health and safety of our members, families and communities. Weekend of Service will begin with a blood drive on 9/3 in partnership with the Penguins & RedCross. More details and additional community services will be announced.
